Arun River Rafting
Nepal has four major river systems with more than two hundred fifty sizeable tributaries. The major rivers are the Sapta Kosi in extremely eastern part of Nepal the Narayani in central the Karnali in west and Mahakali is far western part of Nepal. Arun is one of the mighty tributary of Sapta Kosi. Its source is on the Tibetan Plateau, to the north of Kathmandu and it then swings in an easterly arc for some 200 km draining the Northern slopes of Mt. Everest and Makalu before cutting south through the Himalaya and into Nepal. It cuts through the Himalaya in some deep and awesome gorges that have fascinated explorers, travelers, geographers and river runners, and then flows almost directly south to join the Sun kosi shortly before the Indian plain. Besides that Nepal has more then one hundred different dialects speaking ethnic groups and during the rafting meeting people is part of the Adventure too.

Bhotekoshi Rafting
It’s 3½ hours drive from Kathmandu. Bhote Kosi is a beautiful mountain river without a doubt the full action packed short white-water run in Nepal. ‘Bhote’ roughly translates, as ‘river from Tibet’ so there are quite a lot of rivers with this name in Nepal and Bhote Kosi is the main branch of the Sun Kosi. The river drops steeply offering relentless stretches of grade III-IV white-water. Boulder gardens, small waterfalls, steep chutes and 90degree bends are just some of the obstacles to be overcome. This river is not typical of the big volume waters of the Himalayan, it is steep and technical and requires a reactive crew.

Marsyandhi River Rafting
The Marsyangdi River is one of the most outstanding grade IV Kayaking Rivers in the world. Continuous, exhilarating white-water with magnificent mountain backdrops and drains the northern slope of the Annapurna Himal. It flows east through an arid valley around Manang and then swings south to join the Trisuli River at Mugling. Marsyangdi means ‘raging river’ in local dialect. It was opened to commercial rafting in 1996 and demands 100% Commitment from both crew and guide. It is totally different from the big volume rivers like Sun Kosi and Karnali, the rapids are technical and require a very different approach. Need 100% power and a good line, fast reactions from crew to get through this pinball machine and quickly forges raft crews of complete strangers into true teams.

Seti River Rafting
SETI KHOLA: This is a really unique and pleasant picturesque river passing through two beautiful and contrasting scenic areas. Relatively small volume, blue and warm water, we strongly recommend this is a ‘warm up’ river for intermediate kayakers. Seti rises on the southeast slopes of the sacred Mountain Fishtail and then flows to south, as a fairly typical Nepalese mountain river.

Sunkoshi River Rafting
The Sunkoshi ‘River of gold’ has been rated as one of the top ten rafting trips in the world! It is also in the list of ‘must do while in Nepal’. The river rises in Tibet, and flows eastwards in Nepal through the great valley between the Mahabharat Lekh (hills) and the Himalaya. It forms the watershed for most eastern Nepal and gathering strength from tributaries draining the highest mountains in the world it emerges onto the northern plains of India where it joins the Ganges.
Our journey takes us 270 km through some of Nepal’s most remote area giving you a unique wilderness experience. The first two days are relatively easy and allow time to train you as a team before the bigger rapids arrive. The rapids have acquired manes like Meat Grinder, High Anxiety, Jaws and Big dipper, from previous experiences on expeditions. Say no more! The calmer stretches between rapids give you time to take in the phenomenal views, swim (voluntarily) in warm water and camp on the pristine white sandy beaches.

Wild Karnali river Rafting
Karnali is the Nepal’s longest and largest river. Springs from the base of Mt. Kailash (Ngari) the western part of Tibet, the center of the universe for both Buddhist and Hindu believers. Flowing south into Nepal and it forms the major drainage system of the western districts of Nepal. It is one of the finest BIG volume rafting and Kayaking trip in the world. A classic expedition and definitely the best combination trip: short 2 days trekking, rafting, Kayaking, Fishing, wild life safari, remoteness and unpopulated “Wild West”. Sauli is the rafting put-in-point. The river drops into imposing canyons filled with powerful big volume white-water. These canyons flow into scarcely populated areas of pristine jungle teeming with abundant bird and wildlife. Just enough easier water to regroup and prepare for the next big challenge separates rapids like “Captivity”, “Flip and Strip” and “Gods House”. Towards the end of the trip the river gradient begins to ease as the Karnali leaves the mountains and flows out into the Gangetic plains of Terai. Jungle is thickens and the river is broadens than pristine Beaches become bigger and more beautiful.
